Industrial culture, photography and child

Thesis tracks historical, social and artistic aspects of industrial culture, with focus on two main fields: architecture and photography. Thesis also includes a brief chapter about industrial music and interview with Franz Trechler, who is a famous musician, for completion. The outset of industrial architecture, its development and revitalization, placement in contemporary culture are the stressed themes. There is also focus on the artists who engaged/are engaging in industrial painting and photography. Apart from overview of aforementioned topics thesis also includes an opinion of unbiased child observer on industrial architecture and photography. These two are combined in a work of applied art consisting of collage of photographs with added mixed media. Complementary questionnaire was also part of the research. The group of children consists of three different classes so various ages could be represented. As a conclusion, thesis compares the works with corresponding parts of the RVP and rlooks into the hypothesis, that artwork on previously unknown topic can be succesfully fulfied. Original author's artwork consists of series of surreal collages using photographs, which are completed with drawing and where the compositions were inspired by industrial music.
The Life and the Early Works of Josef Mach

The Abstract The Bachelor work is based on the interpretation of life, early work and import of writer Josef Mach. According to these criteriors the work is devided to three thematical spheres. The first part represents the Mach's biography, which gets out of original information from his work, from his correspondence and from the documents of instituitons, which his life was connected with. The second part of the work analyses Mach's early two poem digests from the formal point of view and mainly from the semantical point of view. The last part of the work takes aim at representative secondary literature about Josef Mach and at development of publication and adapting of his work. The aim of this work is first effort of completing of information about this czech poet, who influenced home literature and literature abroad, and second to give the elementary thematical view of his early work.

from Bacheor thesis Františka Blažková THE INDUSTRIAL CULTURE, PHOTOGRAPHY AND CHILD červen 2013 In this bachelor thesis is thoroughly described a phenomenon of industrial culture with focus on two main fields: architecture and music scene. These two branches of the topic have the best correlation in the sense of architecture as a prototype and music as a mirrored image of architecture. This thesis is mapping the history if industrial architecture and its connection to history of industrial music. Besides the gathering of data concerning this phenomenon and coming to conclusions based on them this thesis also provides an unbiased opinion of the child observer, which is necessary to complete the image. The age of the children was picked according to their socio-cultural knowledge and none or partial knowledge of the topic of industrial architecture. The research was carried out as a questionnaire with attached creative task, based on the reproductions of the photographs taken especially for this thesis.

Later and Foreign Works of Josef Mach

The monographic thesis mainly solves poetry and prose of Josef Mach, the Czech writer, journalist and clerk. It watches literary progress of his poetics according to the era context, influenc of places, historical and social events and inspirations of other artists who surrounded him. The work look into the texts and lyrics by a diachronic and synchronic way. The section about his original works is followed by a chapter about translations of several novels, because he acted even on this literary field. Then the general outline of the reception of Mach's personality and works since the time of his life until today. The whole thesis is introduced by Mach's biography to which it returns in many topics because his works have an empiric character and it is closely connected to the life. The object of the thesis is to sum information about all these topics and give it as a base for future expert research.
